Still rehabilitating

Anna Berta is still rehabilitating from her wrist injury that came up during a match situation this summer.

For the past couple of weeks Anna Berta has been working in the gym, keeping fit and preparing for her normal tennis training. The wrist injury is still a distraction but Anna will be back on the courts soon.

Anna Berta gets married

Anna Berta married her long-time boyfriend and fiancé Daniel Berta during a wedding ceremony this summer in Sweden.

The wedding was celebrated with both families and friends. The newlywed couple sends their many their thanks for a lovely day.

Anna’s husband, Daniel Berta, is also a tennis player with a prominent junior career. During Daniel’s junior tennis career he has been ranked #1 Junior in Sweden, #1 Junior in the World, winner of the gold medal at the European Junior Team Championships and the Boy’s title at the Roland Garros Champinoship. Anna featured in Cosmopolitan Magazine

During the spring Anna Berta was interviewed and photographed by the Swedish Magazine, Cosmopolitan.

The interview was about three young Swedish female athletes and how they motivate themselves to train and compete. The other athletes were Ebba Jungmark, high jumper, and Jessica Landström, fotball player.

The interview was published in the August issue and sold in all the major news stores.

Anna wins Riflex Open

Anna Berta (Brazhnikova) wins the Summer Tour event 2011 Riflex Open in Stockholm.

This week Anna Berta competed in the Swedish Summer Tour event in Stockholm. Näsby Park’s Tennis Club is the host this week and it is the same club where the ITF tournament, the Stockholm Ladies, takes place.

Anna was in good form on the outdoor clay courts and she only lost one set during the whole week.The final was against Madeleine Saari-Byström, whom Anna has practiced with and competed against at many occasions.
